Ingredients of Cauliflower and Broccoli Bake
80 gm cauliflower
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon American mustard
salt as required
water as required
80 gm broccoli
1 1/4 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
cayenne pepper as required
black pepper as required
How to make Cauliflower and Broccoli Bake
Step 1
Wash cauliflower and broccoli under running water and put them in a saucepan. Add enough water to cover vegetables and boil over medium flame. When vegetables get tender, drain water. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 107 degrees C.
Step 2
Transfer the boiled vegetables to a baking dish and keep it aside. Take another pan and heat it over medium flame. Add butter along with flour and stir it well.

Carefully whisk the milk, stirring continuously. Ensure there are no lumps formed. Heat it over the high flame until the mixture thickens.

Add mustard, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Whisk continuously until a mixture thickens. Ensure not to boil the mixture and then add ¼ cup of cheddar cheese. Stir continuously to melt the cheese and amalgamate in the mixture.
