CHENNAI, Coimbatore: BJP president Amit Shah will visit Chennai to prepare the state unit for the 2019 general polls in Tamil Nadu as part of his nationwide tour.

A few hours ago BJP president Amit Shah’s coming in Tamilnadu soil BJP president is trending on micro blogging website with hash tag #GobackAmitShah .

As part of his tour, Shah will interact with senior party leaders. He would also collect information like how the party should move toward voters in each constituency before finalizing the plan for the 2019 LS polls.

Shah would also pay visit to well-known people and well wishers of saffron party BJP. He will also meet in charge at the booth level and other office bearers to share the party's target for the next five months.

Rao said politics in Tamil Nadu are now on the threshold of a new era, as old leaderships of parties which have ruled for the last 50 years have changed.

 Earlier a day Addressing a lecture in memory of Rambhau Mhalgi on 75th birth anniversary in Pune, Shah on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies liken that of Arya Chanakya.

Shah delivered his speech on "Arya Chanakya- Jeevan aur Karya : Aaj Ke Sandarbh mein."

BJP was doing the same groundwork for the upcoming polls nationwide as in Tamil Nadu and the BJP president is visiting to every state to take stock of the situation.
