Chester Charles Bennington, an American singer and songwriter who was famous as the frontman of rock band Linkin Park comitted suicide today at this home in Palos Verdes Estates, L.A. County. As per the reports, the singer had committed suicide by hanging.

After the death of Chris Cornell, Chester was in immense grief and he had penned an open letter to his friend. Now, Vicky Cornell, wife if chris wrote, "Just when I thought my heart couldn't break any more ... I love you T." His suicide has shocked the music world. Condolences have been pouring in from fans and well-wishers.

Jimmy Kimmel paid his condolence by writing, "Chester was one of the kindest men I've had on my show. My heart breaks for his family and friends. He will be missed terribly."
