China's mobile companies dominate the smartphone market in India. Four of the five best-selling smartphone brands in North India are from China, with political and diplomatic tensions between the two countries. Due to the other smartphones' prices and aggressive sales tactics, Chinese companies have captured the world's fastest growing smartphone market, and according to experts, this closeness is expected to continue.

Overall, 3.9 million smartphones are sold in India in the July-September quarter this year. According to data from research firm International Data Corporation (IDC), about one-third of the total smartphones sold in India or about 75% of the top five companies have been in India. If you leave Samsung, then the other four brands - Teio, Lenovo,
Vibo and Oppo are from China. In terms of market participation, Shyomi and Samsung are at the first place (23.5%). After that Lenovo's 9%, Vivo 8.5% and Oppo 7.9% share.

Experts believe that the credit and holdings of Chinese companies can be estimated from the fact that in the previous quarter,
Shyomi sold 4 million Redmi Note 4 phones and it is the best-selling phone in the country. IDC India Chief Analyst Jaipal Singh said that the main reason behind the rise of Chinese companies in the smartphone market is the attractive prices of smartphones and aggressive tactics. He said that these companies try to capture the market with a global level plan. In terms of design and production, companies from other countries, including India, do not look far away from them.

India is one of the largest mobile phone markets in the world. According to Research Institute CMR, sales of mobile phones in India are likely to increase to 26.2 million units by the end of this year, of which 14.16 million feature phones and about 12 million smartphones will be. According to Singh, this is the reason why other Chinese companies like OnePlus and Gionee also want to strengthen their hold here.
