Civilizational connect, contemporary context! India, Iran holds bilateral talks

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding bilateral talks with his Persian counterpart Iran President Hassan Rouhani in New Delhi's Hyderabad House.

The two premiers are expected to take stock of whole array of issues that are significant to India-Iran ties. After the talks the two sides are also expected to sign key agreements.

The two leaders are expected to take stock of whole gamut of issues that are key to India-Iran ties. After the talks the two sides are also expected to sign key agreements.

Earlier this day Iran President Hassan Rouhani met EAM Sushma Swaraj and hold bilateral talks on mutual interest of both nations.

Later speaking to media in Press Meet, Iranian President recalled the age old cultural ties between the two countries.

The ceremonial reception on Saturday Morning has been accorded to President Rouhani at Rashtrapati Bhavan following a call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind.

Iran President Hassan Rouhani inspected the guard of honor at Rashtrapati Bhawan.He also paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
