Class XI Ryan student confesses to murder Pradyuman, CBI says Gurgaon court

Gurgaon: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Thursday asserted to Gurgaon court that the class 11 student, who has been detained in links with the murder of Pradyuman Thakur, has made the clean breast to his involvement in the crime.

 Dead Body of Pradyuman Thakur, with the throat slit, was recovered in a pool of blood in the toilet of Ryan International School in Gurgaon on September 8 2017.

A Gurgaon court had on Wednesday sent the indicted to the detention of the CBI for three days.

The CBI detained the Class 11 student of Ryan International School on Tuesday after inquiring 125 students of Class 10, 11 and 12 for a number of weeks. Parents were also called for every inquiry. The national investigating agency also collected blood samples of these students, according to media reports.

"Our children were cross-examining at school and they had to provide their blood samples too. A lot of senior students from my child's class were also inquired regarding the murder,” told Pramod Kamboj, father a student.

During inquiring, it was exposed that the detained student was the first to report to the gardener about Pradyuman's body in the toilet. It was also found that the boy was seen carrying a knife two days before the murder. However, the school authorities were silent against the student.

The CBI had detained the teen around midnight on Tuesday on the basis of CCTV footage, forensic and scientific evidence. He was time after time inquired before being the arrest.
