Changi [Singapore], June 12 (NT): Ahead of Korea –US  summit, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said 'Coming here was not an easy thing', as per NHK WORLD News quoted him.

Kim further said that the old prejudices and practices worked as obstacles on our way forward but we overcame all of them and we are here today.

North Korea's Kim Jong Un said at summit with President Donald Trump "we came here after overcoming" all the obstacles.

While Donald Trump predicted 'terrific relationship' with Kim Jong Un at the historic summit, AFP reported.

Donald Trump also said that one-on-one meeting with Kim Jong Un was 'very, very good,'  adding that they have an 'excellent relationship'.

This statements came in reference to his one-on-one talks with US President Donald Trump which took place at a resort island of Sentosa in Singapore.

Earlier in the day, the two leaders reached at the hotel along with their respective motorcades. They were accompanied by their respective officials.

Further, President Trump and Kim shook hands as historic nuclear summit which opened in Singapore.

Prior this Donald Trump, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un walked together along balcony after the one-on-one talks.
