On day five of the Gold Coast CWG 2018. India presented incredible scenes at the Belmont Shooting Centre as it’s a 2-3 finish for the nation in the event. Mehuli Ghosh, at just 17 years of age, took silver in the women's 10m air rifle event while Chandela won Bronze.

It all culminated with a shoot off between Ghosh and Veloso for the GOLD medal after finishing at a score of 247.2 each.

 For India GOOSEBUMPS moment when it was up to the final effort, where Mehuli fell just 4 points lower than Veloso.

But what a way to arrive, Mehuli put well did efforts.

As per final medal tally, Mehuli Ghosh won the silver medal after the shoot off while Apurvi Chandela bagged the bronze medal in 10m Air Rifle. Martina Lindsay Veloso of Singapore clinched the gold medal.

In the final shot of the shooting-competition, Veloso shot a 10.4 while Ghosh got a 10.9. Both locked at 247.2.

After 22 shots, Apurvi Chandela is eliminated. 9.9 and 9.4 in her last two shots. She finished with 225.3.

Veloso: 10.0 - 236.8

Ghosh: 10.3 - 236.3

A gap of 0.5 between the two
