Once again Sunny Leone is in the air for Navratri season as people prepare to play with Dandiyan sticks to dance to the classic tunes of the festival. The reason is , the condom company Manforce, of which Sunny Leone is a brand ambassador, put up hoardings across the city of Surat which read ‘Aa Navratri a ramo, parantu premthi’ which literally translates to ‘This Navratri, play but with love.’

This wasn’t taken without due consideration by a Surat-based group which has drawn protests against these ads, claiming it hurts Hindu sentiments. “The message in Gujarati on the hoarding reads ‘Aa Navratri a ramo, parantu premthi’ – this Navratri, play but with love. The insinuation on the hoardings from a condom brand foul language the religious sentiments of Hindus,” said Narendra Chaudhary, a businessman who serves as the group’s leader told TOI. He added saying, “This cannot be tolerated and our protests will get stronger if these hoardings are not removed without delay. Protests are necessary to frighten others from trying something similar again in future.”

Sunny will be next seen in a film called ‘Tera Intezaar’ opposite Arbaaz Khan. Her role in the film is advertizing to be very different one than the rest of her films. Maker Raajeev Walia earlier told that “The film will show Sunny Leone from a very different perspective and angle. You will see Sunny as you have never seen before. She has delivered her best act and has put her heart and soul in the character.”
