Congress MLAs flock return to Eagleton Resort, 2 missing

NEW DELHI: After holding a protest this morning next to Karnataka's Vidhan Soudha, Congress MLAs came back to the Eagleton Resort at Bidadi where they are in monitoring to prevent from horse-trading by BJP.

In a most recent development 1 or 2 out of 117 MLAs, are in touch with BJP. Congress MLAs Pratap Gowda Patil and Anand Singh are missed.

“We are 117, out of that 1 or 2 are in touch with our leaders. They will come back, nothing to worry”, Ramalinga Reddy when asked that Congress MLAs Pratap Gowda Patil & Anand Singh are missing

The senior Congress leaders, who were holding protest for BJP leader BSY Yeddyurappa's swearing in as a 23rd  chief minister, were seen on the steps of the state secretariat in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi included former chief minister Siddaramaiah, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ashok Gehlot, Mallikarjuna Kharge and party's General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka K C Venugopal.

Notably they were later joined by legislators and leaders from the JD(S).

The Congress party, dogged to keep its flock together following the broken mandate that had led to political dramatic developments since when Karnataka results was out, then made sure its newly-elected MLAs returned to the rambling resort that is located on the outer edge of Bengaluru. The JD(S)'s legislators are, meanwhile, camping at the Shangri-La hotel, according to reports.
