Congress pointlessly criticizing Centre's economic policies: Rajnath Singh

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], November 7: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday accused the Congress Party of unnecessarily hauls over the coals the Centre for its economic policies.

"The Congress is trying to deprecate the Central Government on the economic front. The demonetization and the GST are strong economic measures. Had India's economy not been strong no foreign investor would've come here. Fact is foreign investments is growing,” Rajnath Singh insisted.

The Union Home Minister also alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will achieve the two-thirds majority in the forthcoming Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections.

The polling in the hills is line up to be held in single-phase on November 9. The results will be affirmed on December 18.

 

Singh also took the occasion to praise to the skies of the Indian Army.

As asserting that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Intelligence Bureau are working together to counteract the terrorists and their intentions in the Valley,  Rajnah Singh said, "Pakistan indulges in unholy practices but coordination among our security forces is so superior that terrorists are being regularly neutralized."
