Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s addressing at Uttar Pradesh's Azamgarh to the huge gathering while laying down the foundation of 340 km-long Purvanchal Expressway seems a flawful speech to opposition party Congress.

Pramod Tiwari, a Congress leader on Sunday claimed that Modi has taken wrong credit as land for the expressway land was acquired much before and Bhartiya Janata Party Government rule came in power just one year ago in Uttar Pradesh.

BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar the accused of Unnao rape case was also highlighted while accusing PM. The Congress leader said that if PM is speaking about women’s safety than why the accused of such a violent case is still a party member and have not been ousted from the post. He said: “The BJP MLA in Unnao, who (allegedly) raped a minor girl, has still not been ousted from the party. The Prime Minister should have at least spoken of removing him in today's speech,”

“Congress has always been by the side of people irrespective of their caste and religion. We don't play the politics of 'Samshan' or 'Kabristan'” he added while pointing out PM Modi’s dig at Congress that they are the one who halts the triple talaq act in the upper house.

Priyanka Chaturvedi, the senior Congress spokesperson took a note to Modi’s speech and said if he is so concerned about women than why he is not stopping the party leaders who are rallying in the favor of Kathua rape case’s accused. She also represents her views on Unnao rape case while speaking about Sengar as: “He has been arrested but that happened only after people agitated against him and built pressure for action to be taken,”

“For their political gain, the Opposition is trying to prevent the development of the backward classes. They know that if the Dalits, the poor and the other backward classes are empowered, their 'business' will shut down," are PM Modi’s words which fired at Congress leaders and thrash the opposition to speak up on the matter.
