Congress demands CBI probe on Mandsaur rape case

On Saturday, Congress party demanded a CBI investigation regarding the Rape of an 8-years-old girl in Mandsaur.

Congress leader, Jyotiraditya Scindia informed, "It took a lot of time to lodge an FIR in the rape case of an eight-year-old girl in Mandsaur. Even today the investigation is not going in the right direction. We demand a CBI inquiry in the case. Women in my state don't feel safe."
Madhya Pradesh police have reportedly arrested two men accused to be involved in the inhuman act.
Reports inform, that the eight-year-old innocent was kidnapped from her school in Hafiz Colony, Mandsaur, which was followed by her rape on June 26. The little girl is in a critical condition fighting for her life in the hospital.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, criticised the incident and tweeted, "In Mandsaur, MP, an 8-year-old girl was kidnapped and gang-raped and is battling for her life. The brutality this young child was subjected to sickens me. As a nation, we must come together to protect our children and bring the attackers to speedy justice."
Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, also condemned the inhuman act and assured that the accused shall be sentenced to death as soon as possible.
