Prime Minister Narendra Modi's verdict where he talked about news which he read in the newspaper where Rahul Gandhi is quoted to state himself and his party as a party for Muslims, now became a great controversy. From Saturday onward only Congress and BJP training their guns against each other.

Congress leader Anand Sharma, while addressing media said slammed PM Modi for stating Congress as "Muslim party". As per the reports of ANI, he claimed that "PM is for entire India & not only BJP. His main political rival, Congress party has led nationalist movements & struggle for freedom. Calling the party a 'Muslim party' is not befitting of a PM. He has less knowledge of history. He writes his own history."

He further expressed that Modi has berated Indian history and Indian achievements: “With his statements, the PM not only disrespects history but also undermines the achievements of India. This sick mindset of his is an issue of national concern, the PM gives out statements which are wrong as per history & facts” ANI quoted.

Worthy to share that while laying down the foundation stone for Poorvanchal expressway in Uttar Pradesh PM Modi took a dig at Rahul Gandhi while referring an Urdu National Daily news. There he remarked that “For the last two days, I am hearing that a naamdar leader (a sarcastic reference to Rahul Gandhi) recently said that the Congress is a party of Muslims. I’m not surprised. Even former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh once said that Muslims have the first right over nation’s natural resources.” Further, he added that “I am not surprised by this. All I want to ask is, is their party only for Muslim men or for women too?”

Congress termed Urdu National Daily new allegations as “concocted and lies” and slammed Modi while claiming that he is spreading ‘poison of hatred and division,” as PM have anticipated the defeat in 2019 elections.
