Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan has approved the proposal of the opposition to bring the motion against the Center's Modi government in the Lok Sabha. The no-confidence will be voted after the discussion on Friday. But the Congress seems to be splitting up about the timing of this proposal.

According to information from the sources, a section of the Congress in favour of the timing of the no-confidence motion believes that if this was the last parliamentary session of the Modi Government, the Opposition would miss the opportunity that the government could not complete the term of the no-confidence motion. It believes that it should remain in the record that there was a no-confidence motion against the existing government.

The motivation behind this argument is that media coverage of the debate will get a chance to take the issues against the Modi government against the people. At the same time, the opposition will assemble together. On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have to struggle to celebrate his colleagues and other parties.

While opposing the timing of the non-confidence motion, a section of the Congress believes that the Opposition came under the trap of the Modi Government. On condition of anonymity, a senior Congress leader has said till today that Prime Minister Modi will give his speech in the Lok Sabha before voting on the proposal on Friday evening. On Saturday and Sunday, the media will be covered due to the weekend and BJP may be able to stand up to it.

This section of the Congress believes that the first week of the Parliament session was made a mistake by paving the way for Prime Minister Modi. Because of the concurrence of the motion of confidence, the government managed to pass several bills on the very first day in the House. Had to agree on this proposal then it was supposed to be in the last days of the session. Perhaps the opposition did not expect that the government will accept the motion of no confidence on the first day.

It is noteworthy that even the impeachment brought against the Chief Judicial Magistrate of India, Deepak Mishra, came to light not only in the Congress but in opposition parties also. When many senior opposition MPs did not sign the proposal. The impeachment brought by the opposition was rejected by the President and the Speaker of the Rajya Sabha, Venkaiah Naidu. At the same time, BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also got the opportunity to change the Opposition's action and to accuse the country's justice of influencing and scaring.
