Every year November 26 is celebrated as the Constitution Day. On this occasion many political leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared their views on this day.

Pm Modi took to Twitter and wrote that we are proud of our constitution. On Constitution Day we recall with pride the stellar contribution of the greats who served in our Constituent Assembly. We are proud of our Constitution and reiterate our commitment to uphold the values enshrined in it.

 

Minister of State (I/C) Youth Affairs & Sports, Rajyavardhan Rathore also took to Twitter Justice. Liberty. Equality. Fraternity.These are the noble ideals manifested in our Constitution. On #ConstitutionDay, let us honor our Constitution and its creators by living up to these ideals & continually endeavoring to be a better India!

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday attended a dinner hosted by the Chief Justice of India on the eve of Constitution Day.

For the unversed, Constitution day which is also known as the Samvidhan Divas is celebrated every year on November 26 to mark the day on which the Constitution of India was adopted. While the adoption of the Constitution took place on November 26, 1949, it came into effect on January 26, 1950.
