Indian cricket team speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar tied the knot with long-term friend Nupur Nagar in Meerut on Thursday after he had asked for leave from the Indian national team duties from the ongoing India vs Sri Lanka Test series.

The wedding will be followed by a reception in Bulandshahr,  which happens to be Nupur's hometown, on November 26. The couple is also supposed to host a reception in New Delhi on November 30 and since the Indian team members will be available in the capital for the third Test against Sri Lanka, most of them should be available to grace the occasion.

With Zaheer Khan also getting married to Bollywood actress Sagarika Ghatge, there would be quite a few receptions and parties for the Indian cricketers to attend. Bhuvi's wedding celebrations had started a few days back as photos of his 'mehendi' and wife Nupur's Haldi was creating buzz around social media. 

The couple got engaged at a ceremony in Greater Noida on October 4, which was a close-knit affair and was only attended by friends and family members. With the wedding pictures of Bhuvneshwar and Nupur being shared on social media, fellow cricketers including Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Puajra congratulated the couple for the next phase of their lives.
