Compared to any other medium, users are twice as likely to face cyber attacks via e-mail. This has been disclosed in a report. One in every ninth user has received spam e-mails in the first half of 2017. It has been revealed in a report by cybersecurity company Symantec in 'E-mail Threats 2017'. 

Business e-mail compromises (BEC) scandals have also been identified as cyber-hazard, where scammers create a person's image within a company or within the administrative chain and an attempt to collect money from the users or share personal information We do. 

Also, the report says, "We look at around 8,000 businesses targeted by BEC scams in about a month. On average, these businesses receive more than five fraudulent e-mails every month. '

Since 2011, these spam rates have been declining, but in the last few years, the increase is being reported once again. According to an ongoing report, in the first half of 2017, the spam rate touched a 54 percent figure, indicating that about 11 spam emails are coming in the inbox every month compared to a year ago.
