Ranveer Singh who is today to tie a nuptial knot with Dipika Padukone will not be able to enjoy his wedding with full of zest as his starrer Simmba which is one of the much awaited movies of this year has landed in a legal trouble. The movie is helmed by Rohit Shetty. Simba will see Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan romancing Ranveer in her second film. The film has been in headlines ever since its beginning. Well the Delhi High Court has sought Rohit Shetty Picturez' response to a plea alleging that the film infringes the trademark of a beverage company.

Following the lawsuit, Justice Pratibha M Singh asked the production house to act in response to the notice sent by the Chhattisgarh-based beverage company. The court also said to clear that if they don’t respond to the notice, then the matter will be presented before the court on December 4.

"It has also been impressed upon the counsel for the defendant (Rohit Shetty Picturez) that the defendant ought to respond to the plaintiff's (Sona Beverages) notice and also explore the possibility of an arrangement being entered into, failing which, on the next date, the matter will be heard," the court stated in its November order.

The beverage company has alleged that Rohit Shetty Picturez have used their registered trademark for the movie. Their trademark has been used for wide variety of products in which  beers, mineral and aerated water and other non-alcoholic drinks are included. Well, let’s see how director Rohit Shetty and his production house respond on this whole mess.

Well Ranveer Singh who is in Italy for his big day and getting married to the love of his life Deepika Padukone might be little bit nervous due to all this fiasco.
