Davos (Switzerland): Barely a day after passed a major litmus test on spending bill in his country, United States of America (USA) president Donald Trump might witness mixed welcome during ongoing the World Economic Forum (WEF - 2018) here in European country thousand miles away from his country as thousands of people staged protest in Switzerland capital Zurich against the arrival of Trump.

Trump who set to address the WEF - 2018 at Davos on Friday expected to land on Wednesday. He will address the international business and political forum on Friday.

Scores of protestors marched on Zurich roads chanting slogans like “Trump not welcome”, “dump the Trump” and “Switzerland is hosting Nazis”.

Tamara Funiciello, president of Young Socialists of Switzerland who is leading the protest said that “We are protesting against both Trump and the WEF”.

“The discussions between the richest one percent of the world and a man who fuels an aggressive atmosphere towards women and minorities has no place in Switzerland,” said Funiciello.

Another Michel Zahn, spokesman for the Movement for Socialism labeled US President as incarnation of sexism, racism, exploitation and corruption.

Earlier, Trump has faced criticism over his policies on anti-immigration in his country. Even the Democratic leaders have given their consent after assurance from their Republican counterparts for a debate on the future of young illegal immigrants in the country in future.

Democrats claimed that they want a permanent solution for illegal immigrants who came to the United States.
