The Central Government has accepted the Supreme Court's suggestion on Thursday, after which the time limit for linking the mobile number to the Aadhaar has now been increased. The deadlines for linking the mobile number from the Aadhaar have increased from 6th February to 31st March. Let us tell you that the Supreme Court will decide on Friday whether the basis for the Central Government schemes or financial services will be necessary.

Government Notice issued
The government has issued a notification on increasing the mandatory period of the bank and the need for providing information on the bank and accounts for the financial transactions until March 31. However, there is no mention about the extension of the mobile SIM card to the base from February 6, 2018. On the issue of linking Aadhaar card to mobile services, the Attorney General said that the deadline of February 6 was fixed after the directions of the apex court and the Constitution Bench could consider expanding its time limit.

The Supreme Court had said on 27th November that constitution of constitution bench will be considered for consideration of the petitions challenging the move of the Center to make it mandatory to link the benefits of various services and welfare schemes.

The nine-member Constitution Bench said in its decision that the right to privacy under the Constitution is also the fundamental right. In many petitions challenging the validity of the base, it was claimed that this violates the right of privacy.
