A beauty contest for Indian Transgender will be organized on August 27 i.e., today. Organizers said that 16 Transgenders from across the country will participate in the competition for the title 'Miss Transqueen India 2017'.

The winners of this competition will represent the country in Thailand next year in 'Miss International Transqueen' competition.

Suhani Dreamcatchers founder Reena Roy, a beauty contest organizer, said, "There is often lack of confidence in moving towards a career of interest in transgender people. We want to change it."
