Jeep Compass, which launched shortly before, has become quite popular in India. Fiat Chrysler Automobile is selling this car in India and the Jeep is currently selling its SUV in the diesel variant for 2-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drive options. The company has not yet started the official delivery of its petrol variants in India. In petrol variants, the company has given both manual and automatic gearboxes.
According to available information, the company will start delivery of petrol variants from October. These cars will be delivered to those who already have Jeep Compass petrol booked.
Jeep Compass must be booked soon because of its higher demand. It will take two months after booking to get the car. Fiat subsidiary Jeep has provided two types of engines in its new SUV compose. It has a 1.4-liter petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engine. Jeep Compass has a 4-cylinder 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine which generates 160 bhp power and 260 Nm torque.
Its diesel engine is also a 4-cylinder turbocharged Powerful 2.0-liter, which generates 170 bhp power and 350 Nm torque. Jeep Compass has a 7-speed automatic transmission with a 6-speed manual gearbox which launched shortly.
