The BJP and the Congress-led Opposition will show confrontation over demonetization on Wednesday as ’black day’ to observe the first anniversary of the announcement of the exercise by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 While BJP leaders, along with many Union Ministers, will enthusiast across the country to draw attention to the “benefits” of demonetization on the first anniversary of the exercise and the ruling saffron party observes 8 Nov as ‘anti-black money day’.

The Congress and several opposition parties will protest against note ban in a number of parts of the nation. Unfazed by the Opposition denigration, the BJP has declared demonetization led to a cleaner economy.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will go in front the party’s protest against demonetization in poll-bound state Gujarat on Wednesday, on the first anniversary of the note ban.

Rahul Gandhi has selected Surat where he would talk with traders, weavers, and workers exaggerated by the note ban and the GST. In the evening, he will participate in a “candlelight vigil to pay homage to those who lost their lives because of demonetization.”

 On the other hand Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Ananth Kumar, Nirmala Sitharaman, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Suresh Prabhu and Smriti Irani will converse to the media in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Lucknow correspondingly on Wednesday.

Prakash Javadekar will talk to a press conference in Bengaluru and Piyush Goyal in Ahmedabad. Union Minister Jayant Sinha has also flowed of air for the exercise.
