Panchkula: While giving a major relief to Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the special CBI court of Panchkula has given him regular bail in the sterilization case. Earlier on August 23, the Special Judicial Magistrate, the CBI had rejected his bail application, after which the Dera chief had challenged the order and had applied to Special CBI Judge Jagdeep Singh.

However, the self-styled godman will not be able to come out of the jail because he was sentenced to 20 years in jail by the CBI court in September last year for raping two Sadhs. Recently, Panchkula CBI court had made serious allegations against Gurmeet under section 326 of the Indian Penal Code (severe injury to dangerous weapons or means), 417 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation).

Apart from this, the CBI had made another big disclosure about Ram Rahim, chief of Dera Sacha Sauda. CBI had alleged in his charge sheet that Ram Rahim used to inspire his devotees to make impotent for collecting land and property. The charge sheet has been filed by the CBI in front of the Special Court of Panchkula.

Panchkula CBI court has framed the chargesheet against as it was found that the Dera Saccha Sauda chief had forcibly castrated 400 of his followers at the sect’s headquarters in Sirsa.

Apart from Gurmeet Ram Rahim, two doctors have also been charged in the case as they were involved in the forcible castration of hundreds of men.
