Firstly, the biopic of Sanjay Dutt and now a romantic saga hovering around everyone’s head. Dhadak is all set to repeat the victory of ‘Sanju’ again. On its debut day on silver screen, ‘Dhadak’ scored triple numbers in comparison to the Indian Marathi-language romantic drama directed by Nagraj Manjule by which this Hindi version took an inspiration.
On Monday also the movie traveled a great path and have earned Rs 5.52 crore that gauged its total to Rs 39.19 crore. Taran Adarsh, the trade analyst updated the same and scribbled down: “The love story gets the love of the audience... #Dhadak passes the crucial Monday examination... Packs a SOLID number on Day 4... The newcomers have just nailed the platform and have hit hard to give their best in their first big hit. Even without any holiday weekend the Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor starrer thrashing the audience to theatres to witness the tragic love story of the couple. The Shashank Khaitan directorial revolves around the love story of a couple which tried to retain their love from the bad eyes of society which denied to accept the same on the basis of inequality.
