The show begun with Anjali gets a surprise gift for Taarak. She tells him that the T shirt was free with a dress she had to buy. Bhide calls Taarak and asks him to reach soda shop. Anjali gets upset that he always goes to meet his friends in the evening. They also call Popatlal who hasn't reached soda shop.
Everybody wonders where is Jethalal. Then everyone starts praising their wives and how much they love them. Taarak recites a few lines about love. Everyone talks about love in their own unique way.
Just then Popatlal comes to meet his friends and he recites a poem about how he is longing for a wife. Everyone rushes to their respective homes. Popatlal says he has to go home and wash clothes and utensils. As he is washing utensils he realizes that there is no water. He rushes to Iyer's home and asks him about the water supply. They realize that there is no supply in their block. He gets angry and blames Bhide for this.
