Diesel price continues to increase Petrol stagnant

New Delhi [India], Oct 15 (NT): The prices of petroleum product continued its increasing march on Monday although Petrol price is stagnant but diesel prices hilked by 8 paise and 9 paise in four metropolitan cities of nation. While in the national capital  Delhi and Kolkata saw a raise of 8 paise, a litre of diesel has increased by 9 paise in the financial capital Mumbai and same in  Chennai. After the revision of the rates, diesel in Delhi is being sold at Rs 75.46 per litre and Rs 77. 31 per liter in Kolkata .Talking about Mumbai, diesel touched Rs 79. 11 per litre mark and the same is being sold at Rs 79.80 per littre in Chennai.

Meanwhile, the petrol price across the four metro cities of country remained stagnant. The fuel price has been high-ceilinged since the past few months in the whole nation, causing many problems for the common people. The rival parties has constantly blamed the PM Modi led Centre for the sharp hike in the fuel price.  But the center has maintained that global crude oil prices and other international factors are accountable for the rise in prices of petroleum products.
