Drink turmeric tea to achieving health benefits

Turmeric is a golden spice that is very beneficial for our health. It helps in digestion, support a healthy immune system, support healthy cholesterol levels, and support liver detoxification, among other benefits. Today we bring you the method to make healthy turmeric tea. 

Required Ingredients 

2 tablespoons ground turmeric, 1/4 cup water, 1 cup milk (or soy milk, or other non-dairy milk substitute
), 1 teaspoon almond oil, 1 teaspoon honey

  Method to make Turmeric Tea

1. Stir together the ground turmeric and water in a small saucepan.

2. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook, stirring, until a thick paste is formed.

3. Use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of this turmeric paste for each cup of tea.

4. Add turmeric paste, milk, almond oil and honey to saucepan and reduce heat to low.

5. Bring milk just to a boil then remove from heat.

6. Whisk briskly or blend if you prefer a frothier drink.
