EA Minister Sushma Swaraj and Vietnam's FM sign MoUs between India and Vietnam

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has reached Vietnam's capital Hanoi in the first phase of a five-day trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. The purpose of Sushma Swaraj's five-day visit to Vietnam and Cambodia is to deepen India's relationship with two important ASEAN regions. Sushma Swaraj and Vietnam's foreign minister Pham Binh Minh has signed MoUs that is Memorandum of understanding between the two countries in Vietnam's Hanoi, today.

Foreign Ministry spokesman tweeted that his act is accelerating the East policy. He wrote in the tweet that the trip will be helpful in continuing our high level high-level Southeast Asian countries. It was informed in the tweet that Swaraj was received by the Ambassador P Harish, Indian children and senior officials of the Foreign Ministry of Vietnam and Indian children presented him with flowers. India's relations are in progress with two important countries of powerful ASEAN group Vietnam and Cambodia. 

In Vietnam, Sushma will co-chair the Joint Commission's 16th meeting with her colleague, Pham Bin Minh. He will also meet Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Shuwan Fuk. Sushma Swaraj will inaugurate the third edition of the Indian Ocean Conference today.

A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs has stated that this visit is a comprehensive discussion on a broad global, regional and bilateral issues with a political leadership and to pursue our strategic exchange with these countries and ASEAN. Will provide the opportunity.
