England Vs West Indies second ODI couldn't take place

The second ODI between England and West Indies of the ongoing five-match series on Thursday was called off after just 14 deliveries due to the rain at Trent Bridge. England team registered a win against West Indies in the first ODI by seven-wicket which was played at the Old Trafford. Thus, England lead the series by 1-0.

The players could play for only 11 minutes as the rain came and the Umpires had to take the players off the field. At that time England was at  21 without any loss in 2.2 overs. Due to the consistent rain, the players couldn't come back to the field.

As WestIndies suffered a defeat against England in the first ODI they lost a direct qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which took place in the United Kingdom. However, as Indies lost to England the Srilankan directly qualified for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

On Sunday, the two teams will play the Third ODI which is scheduled to be played in Bristol. 

The Indian team yesterday also played a second ODI against Australia at Eden Gardens in kolkata in which the Men in Blue with their brilliant performance defeated Australian player with 50 runs. Yesterday in the match the player Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets.
