  • Venkatesh was born as Bapu Krishnarao Venkatesh Prasad on August 5 in Banglore
  • He represented India in 33 tests and 161 ODI and bagged 96 and 196 wickets respectively.
  • Prasad failed to take any wicket in his 1st ODI but in his bedut test he created an impact with amazing 6 for 121 in his very first test match against England.
  • He is known for his magical spell of 6/33 against Pakistan at Chennai test in 1999. In this match he made had shown exit door to 5 Pakistani batsmen for 0 runs.
