Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back after her last appearance in the 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The first look of Aishwarya’s character in the film Fanne Khan was released on Tuesday by KriArj Entertainment on its Twitter handle. The film is directed by Atul Manjrekar.

In the picture, Aishwarya wears a camouflage jacket, sunglasses and carries a studded bag. The caption says, “There are divas and then there is #AishwaryaRaiBachchan.. our shining star! #FanneKhan”.  She looks confident in the picture.

The look is being compared to Aishwarya’s look in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and the comparisons are justified as the same designer (Manish Malhotra) has designed the costume for this film as well.

Aishwarya will star in the film alongside Rajkumar Rao, Divya Dutta, and Anil Kapoor. Aishwarya plays the character of a famous singer and dancer in the film. The film marks collaboration of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai after 19 years. They appeared together in ‘Taal’ in 1999. In this film, Anil plays the role of a father to an aspiring singer and kidnaps Aishwarya to facilitate his daughter’s entry into the music industry. This is the second occasion when the actress will be seen romancing a younger actor (Raj Kumar Rao).

The film will release on June 15.
