He is the person who taught me to walk. He is the one who trained me to ride a bicycle. He is someone who made me strong. Someone who believes in my dreams more than me. Someone who is working hard to make that dream come true. We usually cry out loud calling maa when we fall down. But when we need a hand to walk in the dark we don’t even have to call out, he is always there walking behind us. He is none other than papa.

Everyone says this, that a daughter is more close to her father than her mother, and I think this is somewhat true. As far as I remember when I used to argue with my mum he is the one who always took my side. He always treated me like a princess. I know that ‘papa ki pari’ is trolled a lot but its an emotion we girls are  ‘papa ki pari’.

There is a lot to say about papa but words are not enough to wish him ‘Happy Father’s day’. After 2 days we all are going to celebrate Father’s Day. Everyone has some sweet memories with their father.Today I will share mine with you all.

Once I had an accident and at that time I was 16 years old. I fell from my scooty and my right leg fractured. I was taken to the hospital. I am very scared of injections and when the doctor came near me to give me the injection, I hold my papa’s hand so tightly instead of my mum’s hand and screamed out loud. After injecting the medicine the doctor said You screamed out loud calling papa, are you not close to your mum, then I said “me papa ki Beti hu a isliye” and then everyone laughed out loud. This is a memory I remember and this incident is very close to my heart.

You can also share your stories with us. Just write your heart out what you feel for your father.
