This year, Father’s Day is being celebrated around the world on June 19, and Google has created a special doodle to mark the occasion.

Working on a similar theme as its Mother’s Day doodle, this time the designers have shown the image of a pair of dad’s shoes on a rug with the word Google on it, accompanied by a pair of kiddie shoes that probably indicate how we, as kids, follow our dad’s footsteps so closely.

Every third Sunday of the month of June, Father’s Day is celebrated in most of the countries. To make this occasion special, Google has paid tribute to all the dads in the most beautiful way.

The illustration presented by Google will definitely melt every dad’s heart. This illustration clearly shows the paternal bond and celebrates fatherhood.

This doodle will remind you of something similar to Mother’s Day doodle. The Google Doodle today shows a pair of adult shoes and next to it a baby’s feet size shoes.

Both the shoes have been placed on a rug with Google written on it. The image not just celebrates fatherhood but even shows how as children we always follow our dad’s footsteps.

This day was introduced in the early 20th century in order to complement Mother’s Day. There are many other countries that are all set to celebrate fatherhood in the coming days and months. Throughout the year you’ll see some or the country celebrating Father’s Day.
