Finance MInister Jaitley: No employees of ordinance factories to be retrenched

In the Lok Sabha, The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that no ordinance factory would be privatized and allayed fears of job cut in such units.

According to his statement, "No employee is going to be retrenched. The ordinance factories must concentrate on manufacturing ammunition and weapons. So, do we need ordinance factories which are doing tailoring job? They should not be doing tailoring job."

"Factories are being maintained and none of them is being privatised. And please do not have this particular fear," he said.
