In the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, a 40-year-old criminal was sentenced to death in a rape case in Rahali. The incident took place on May 21. The punishment for raping a 9-Year-Old girl has been decided in 46 days only. According to the district's SP, this is probably the first case after the amendment in the law referring sentence to death in the rape case, in which the death sentence has been given to the criminal. 

Additional Sessions Judge Sudhanshu Saxena, appearing for Civil Court, said that the man was found guilty under section 376 IPC and Paxo Act and sentenced to death for the abusive act of guilty Bhagirath. According to the case, on the day of the incident, the accused raped the nine-year-old innocent, playing outside the house and took her to a religious place and raped her there. After listening to the girl's cry, the village had reached the spot and saved her.

By then, the criminal fled away. Later he was caught with the help of police. The police arrested the accused on the second day. The Madhya Pradesh government had enacted the death sentence of innocent people under 12 years of rape, which the President had cleared on April 21.
