First hour of Gujrat Polls, Around 8% voting is done with glitches in EVM

Around 8% voters cast their ballots in the first hour of Gujrat assembly polls 2017 this morning. In this small period of time, there have been registered 50 complaints of technical fault s recovered in EVM.  Rajkot alone has reported 33 glitches in the EVMs. 

We're noticing that the polling hasn't been accurately smooth in some places, as per reports temporary malfunction or fault of equipment of the EVMs and VVPATs in Rajkot, Rajpipla, Bhavnagar, Palitana, Porbandar. In Porbandar, there were 8 voting stations where EVM equipment found fault, and in Amreli five voting booths have glitches in EVM.

Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will give his address to four public meetings in North Gujarat today. He also urged to the people to cast their votes and participate in the democratic process to celebrate as a festival of Lokparva. He greeted the youth for their participation in the Polls.
