Ford India's sales rise up by 3.41 percent

Ford India sold a total of 8,042 vehicles in the domestic market with an increase of 3.41 percent in August, compared to 7,777 units sold in the same period last year. In the combined sales in the domestic market and exports, the company has achieved 23.76 percent increase. The company has sold a total of 20,648 vehicles in the month of August, while in August 2017 the company had sold 15,740 vehicles. Talking about exports, the company has exported 12,606 vehicles, which is 36.83% more than the export of 7,963 vehicles in August 2017.

Anurag Mehrotra, Chairman and Managing Director of the company said that they express their condolences to the people of Kerala, who are facing serious disaster. It is encouraging to look at all the support for the victims as an industry during this crisis of Kerela Flood.

Ford employees and dealership together contributed Rs 1.6 crore for relief and rehabilitation in Kerala. This amount was given to the Chief Minister Relief Fund of Kerala and the non-governmental organization echo. In addition to this, Ford has announced to provide free roadside assistance, immediate settlement of insurance and free services for free trains in the flood-affected areas in Kerala.
