Four people allegedly kidnapped a minor girl in Bangalore and gang-raped him several days in a lodge. The main accused runs the tea shop. He made a friendship with the girl and seduced him to a lodge on October 26 and carried out the crime. On October 30, the girl's father lodged a complaint of her daughter's disappearance in the police station.

A senior police official said that while taking action on a secret information, the police rescued the girl on November 4 and arrested four people. The gangrape police arrested all the four accused under the Poxo for the kidnapping and gangrape of a 19-year-old student. Police said that there are three accused friends from 22 to 25 years of age. 

"We have arrested all the four accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for kidnapping and gang-raping the teenage girl for ten days," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Whiefield) Abdul Ahad.

The arrested have been identified as gang leader Ashok alias Raju (30), accomplices Rakesh (25), Deepak (20) and Jai Singh. While Raju belongs to Najafgarh in Delhi, Rakesh and Deepak belong to Jhajjar in Haryana and Jai Singh belongs to Alwar in Rajasthan. Two others, Monu and Sanjay, residents of Alwar, managed to escape during the encounter. The main accused, Raju, received bullet injuries in the leg during the encounter and has been admitted to district hospital, Noida.
