We have read many such stories many times that the apps of our phones are recording our things. After researching this matter for one year, they found that our apps are not listening to us but they are definitely watching us. A group of computer science academics experimented with over 17,000 popular Android apps whether these apps are recording our points or not. Some of these apps were from Facebook and there were more than 8000 apps that could send your information to social media platforms.

According to the report, more than half of the applications that were used for experiments had access to the camera and mobile phones. This means that when these applications are open they can easily record things from people. Researchers discovered that any audio file has not been sent to any third party from the data analyzed using automated programme.

After this research, the experts found that the phones' apps are not recording our points, but in this research, they got a shocking thing to know. Experts noticed that some apps had recorded videos of people's work and also took a screenshot. These screenshots were also sent to third-party domains.

Out of these apps, an app called GoPuff recorded the video of the app screen and sent it to a third-party mobile analytics company. Apart from this, this app also recorded the customer's postal code which he submitted for the order. But in this privacy policy, users were not told anything about screen recording. When experts wanted to know about it from GoPuff, they updated their privacy policy so that users' personal information identifiable can be collected.
