Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Guwahati has released the list of GATE 2018 applications who were rejected. The reason for rejections is duplicacy as stated. Candidates would be properly informed that in the official notification released, it was clearly mentioned that candidates can apply only once through a designated regional office. 

The list of rejected candidates numbers along with zone name and enollment id is available on the official website. There were about 856 forms have been listed on the official website. Applicants, therefore, requested to go through the list of rejected applications available on the website gate.iitg.ac.in. The notification released states that the applcations were rejected as they were found to be part of duplicate or triplicate applications.

GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is organized every year by consortium of zonal IITs. This year, GATE 2018 is being conducted by IIT Guwahati. The official notification was released in the month of August and the online application started from September 1, 2017. The online application dates were extended. A one time opportunity to change the examination center was also released. Another notification on the website has confirmed that admit cards for GATE 2018 would be released on January 5, 2018. Candidates are requested to check the website for latest updates and announcements.
