United States of America President Donald Trump daughter Ivanka Trump, who is adviser to US President Donald Trump also, has arrived in Hyderabad for the annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit co-hosted by India and the US. For the first time in India, the GES is being held in South Asia. The three-day summit, from November 28-30, will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) and Hyderabad International Trade Expositions (HITEx).

 

Ms Ivanka Trump is leading a commission of senior White House officials as well as American entrepreneurs. The theme of this year's summit is 'Women First, Prosperity for All' and will include 1,200 young entrepreneurs, most of whom are women nearly half of the total attendance is women. Ivanka Trump will address the inaugural session along with Prime Minister Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, John Chambers, Chairman Emeritus, Cisco. Apart from them Event will see the participation of Sibongile Sambo, Managing Director of SRS Aviation and SRS Petroleum and Marcus Wallenberg, the Chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB).

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will also mark their presence in the summit. While Ms Trump has been to India before, this will be her first visit as a senior White House adviser. She was invited for the summit earlier this year by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his state visit to the US.
