Paan leaf (betel leaf),

A separate cloth for covering the Ganesh clay idol,

 In addition Haldi( Trmric powder),Kumkum, Chawal( Rice), Red flowers, druva grass blades, modak (a sweet filled with jiggery and coconut powder), coconut, red chandan (sandalwood paste) also needed.
