Gastritis and duodenitis are considered amongst thje most feared diseases of the intestine and the alimentaru canal. It is caused due to the infection of a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori . Gastritis refers to the inflammation of the stomach lining, while duodenitis is basically a medical condition in which the lining of the duodenum undergoes inflammation. Duodenum is a part of the small intestine.
Both gastritis as well as Duodentitis are painful. Often it becomes a long term issue, while in certain cases,it remains short term and gets cured easily.
At times, both diseases show no symptom at all, theses just keep on increasing the infection.
Well, in most of the cases, the patients of gastritis and duodentitis suffered from some common symptoms like a painful burning sensation in the stomach, nausea, vomiting, indigestion, feeling full even when you haven’t eaten something.
Several cases were reported in which the stomach pain got spread to the back or lower abdomen.
In the worst cases, the patients had to suffer from internal bleeding. The bleeding made their stools turn brown or even black.
Patients even suffered vomiting and their vomit seemed gritty or more like coffee.
