Ghaziabad: on Tuesday, the plan to extend Noida Sector 62 metro has been approved by the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) board.
Principal Secretary (Housing), Sadakant chaired the plan which was among the 47 proposals passed at a GDA meeting in Ghaziabad.
Vice-Chairman of GDA Vijay Yadav, who presided the plan said, "Metro rail service will be extended from Noida sector 62 to Indirapuram via Vasundhara to Mohan Nagar trisection and Blue line metro rail service from Vaishali to Mohan Nagar. Approvals in this regard will be sought from the UP government and the Centre”.
"Apart from borrowing loan from the National capital region planning board, the GDA will meet out future expenditure for metro expansion plan from its infrastructure fund," he further added.
