Gold worth Rs one crore was stolen in Karol Bagh

A sensational case of gold stolen from a crore of gold in Karol Bagh area of Delhi has emerged. The gold was cleared on the gold of one crore yesterday from the jewelry workshop in Regarpura, a building of Karol Bagh.

This incident has been done by Sarigat, a staff working in the workshop.   It is being told that Surjeet fed nearly a dozen people working in the workshop in the evening, after adding to their addiction and after which all the workers were unconscious.

Surjeet has stolen nearly three and a half kilos of gold, which costs around Rs 1 crore. There are about four CCTV cameras in the Jewelry Workshop, in which the accused pictures are imprisoned. The police filed the case and started looking for the accused. 

It is not the first case of this theft in Delhi, when a case has been reported in the jewelry shop or jewelry factory in Karol Bagh, before that even before Deepawali's night, only six crore jewels and millions of rupees were spent in Karol Bagh. 

“On Saturday night, at around 10 pm, Goswami left his workshop while his staff stayed back. When he returned to the workshop on the morning of November 5 at around 11 am, he found his staff unconscious. Upon checking, he found that gold jewelry up to 3,530 grams was missing,” a senior police officer said.
