After Diwali, smartphone makers such as Xiaomi have hiked the prices on few of their smart phone models and attributed the rate raise to the depreciating rupee against the US dollar. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has received a price drop of Rs. 1,000 each and the new prices are reflective from today. Xiaomi stated that it witnessed a cut in component cost on the aforesaid smartphones and thus warranted a price decrese.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage can now purchase for Rs. 13,999 after a price fall of Rs 1,000. Likewise, the model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is available for Rs. 15,999 after an official price fall of Rs. 1,000. Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU.

It has 4/6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. And On the camera front, there is a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel lenses available. The selfie camera is available with  a 20-megapixel shooter. The device is supported by a 4000mAh battery and it runs on MIUI 10.
