Google unveiled its annual conference I / O 2018 with Android P beta (alias Android P developer preview 2). This build is now available for devices other than Google pixels in which companies have enforced project treble. Among them, Essential PH-1, Nokia 7 Plus, OnePlus 6, Oppo R15 Pro, Sony Xperia XZ2, Vivo X21, Vivo X21 UD and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S are included. Users using these devices must be enrolled in the Android Beta program. After this, the user will get the build in 24 hours through the OTA. In this year's Google I / O 2018, this tech company informed about the many features of Android P released by latest developer preview 2. 

One of the key features of Android P Beta (Android P DP2) is Adaptive Battery. This will give a more consistent battery experience to the user. With the help of Artificial Intelligence and on-device machine learning, updating the new Android P feature user pattern will prerequire the battery for the most used app and service by the user. They will be divided into 'Active, Frequent, Rare and Working Set' categories. After this, the battery will be revised. The company says that with its help, users will be able to get better performance from their Android device in common usage. 

Another feature of Android P is Adaptive Brightness. Google says that automatic brightness has been available on Android for a long time. This feature controls brightness based on ambient lighting conditions. But many users still prefer to change the brightness level. By doing this, this feature is no longer of any use. Therefore, Adaptive Brightness will use machine learning. By doing so, the device will provide a better brightness by keeping the user's choice and other factors in mind with ambient lighting conditions. 

Google has made App Action a part of Android P beta. Now the phone will suggest the app to an app for any action. For example, "If a user connects his headphones to a device, then Android will automatically suggest the user to play his favorite spotlight playlist again." Google says that the actions will also work in Android's different interfaces, such as launcher, smart text selection, play store, Google search app and assistant. 

The company has also introduced the new ML Kit . This kit will help to integrate slices as well, providing an on-device API for developers such as text recognition, face detection and image labeling.  In the Android P Beta, the company has tried to make the operating system easier. They also include navigation. Now there will be a new gesture.

Users will be able to swipe upwards on the Home button to bring new designed overview pages. In this, users will be able to see a full-screen preview of the recently used app. Navigation has a new, redesigned Quick Settings feature. Now taking screenshots will be easy. Notification and volume control will be easier and easier.   

Android P Beta aims to take care of user's digital health. This feature will prevent users from spending too much time on Android devices. Dashboard feature has been introduced to do this. There will be many user-related data such as how much time they are spending on the device? How much time is going on a particular app? How often did the phone unlock? How many notifications have been received? 

Do not disturb mode will now be more advanced than before. Now just phone calls and notifications will not be silent. No pop-ups will now come on screen For this feature, the shortcut can be activated by placing the side of the table on the phone screen. Another feature is Wind Down. It can set user bedtime. Night mode will be turned on as time goes on. Do not disturb will become active. Google has also said that Android P will get even more new features in the coming time which will be related to the security and privacy.
