Prime minister Narendra Modi arrived at Economic Times Global Business Summit at around 8:15 PM. The PM talked about preparing India for future.
Modi, in his speech, said that India is now a changed country despite the people and bureaucracy being the same.
“Country is same, people are the same, bureaucracy is same, but India looks like a changed country. This change in the economic and social content of the country lies the new rules for 'New India, New Economy'. Today world wants to walk along India,” said Modi in his address at ET Global Summit.
PM Modi spoke about the time when the Indian economy was counted in fragile five and claimed that now the Indian economy has moved from being fragile to a strong economy.
PM Modi also spoke about his government's achievement.
"While the previous govt connected only 59 panchayats through optical fibre, our govt in just 3 years connected more than 1,10,000 village panchayats through optical fibre," he claimed.
Several high-profile attendees were present at the function including Shah Rukh Khan.
